During the period of self-restraint for interpersonal keiko (taijin-teki-keiko), the All Japan Kendo Federation held the “Bushishi Hitori-geiko Social Media Support Campaign”. However, following the “Lifting of Request for Self-Restraint of Interpersonal Keiko (Taijin-teki-keiko)”, submissions for that campaign will no longer be accepted.

In this campaign we posted over 30 videos and photos. The hitori-geiko videos made during the period of self-restraint showed people’s creativity and hard work and they were extremely popular on social media.

Thank you to everybody both in Japan and overseas for taking part in this campaign.

The request for self-restraint of interpersonal keiko has now been lifted, but for the time being, please conduct keiko with a careful attitude.

The AJKF hopes that from now on in keiko, people will continue to work as hard as they did in hitori-geiko.
