The All Japan Kendo Federation has planned different competitions, seminars, and gradings in 2020. However, since infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are spreading, there have been reports that other organizations will cancel or reduce their events scheduled in February. Some of you may be concerned by these developments, but the All Japan Kendo Federation is still preparing to hold events from April as scheduled.

However, in view of the magnitude of the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we will continue to pay close attention to developments and respond appropriately based on the opinions of the government, medical and scientific committees, and other experts.

If there is a change of policy in the future, we will promptly provide information via the All Japan Kendo Federation and prefectural kendo federation websites.
