Recorded Video of the 1st World Kendo Championships

In 1970, the 1st World Kendo Championships (1WKC) was held at the Nippon Budokan on April 5 in the form of a goodwill red vs. white match and team championship. The individual championships was held at Osaka City Central Gymnasium on April 10.

The video which was released today at the Official AJKF YouTube channel was edited video of the 1st World Kendo Championships held at the Nippon Budokan which was donated to the All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF) by Mr. Kenji TAKIZAWA from Kanagawa Kendo Federation.

This is a very valuable video resource and is a forerunner of international Kendo exchanges.We would appreciate if you could find this video useful.
