The All Japan Kendo Federation has decided not to hold the 66th All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI in Oita prefecture this year because of COVID-19 infections. It will instead be held next year.

As a result, the schedule for the All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI will be as follows:

• 2021: 66th All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI (Oita)
• 2022: 67th All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI (Hyogo)
• 2023: 68th All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI (Okinawa)
• 2024: 69th All Japan TOZAI-TAIKO（East VS. West Japan) KENDO TAIKAI (Kagawa)
